About Us

 Our Mission

The Ryan Brubaker Foundation grew out of a love for our son, Ryan, who passed on September 11, 2012 at the age of 21. He was a graduate of Warwick High School, Lancaster Career and Technology Center and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Although Ryan was never one to be in the spotlight we believe he would be delighted to know that an organization with his namesake is reaching out to help others and that three of our partners are institutions which had a significant positive influence in his life.

Ryan had a caring, gentle spirit and a deep love for family and friends. His affable style and huge smile could light up a room. One of our goals is to light up the lives of kids temporarily living in need of a helping hand … for any reason. “Helping Local Youth in Need” is a broad mission designed specifically to allow flexibility in options for assisting and benefiting adolescents. Counseling services, mission retreats, humanitarian experiences, etc. are all avenues we will consider as a means for offering a local youth, a helping hand in a time of need.

The Ryan Brubaker Foundation is an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) organization, with an exempt purpose of “Helping Local Youth in Need”.  The official registration and financial information of the Ryan Brubaker Foundation may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999.

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.”
